The process for restoring the light damage on my Holy Grail/Rainbow Moon Challice

:la:

This can be done with any of the pink plastic sailor moon toys though some of them have slightly darker pink colors. This particular paint is best matched to the light pink items (Crystal Carillon, Luna Pen, Crescent Wand) but you'd need another color for the darker items like the Kaleidoscope.

When taping is very complicated (with the Sailor Locket for example), you can carefully cover the places you don't want paint and gently use a blade to cut away the tape. Be VERY careful if you try this because you don't want to scratch your item. Be sure to cover or remove any screws so they don't get painted over (protect the screw holes in the same way with rolled tape).

If you need some pink items restored but you're too worried or nervous to try, please get in touch with me! I might be able to help depending on the item and the damage. :D

hey Sakky, I think my Heart Moon Rod is with the same problem [link] (I'm glad I've just passed by this post of yours! XD)
Do you think it's too risky to try to repaint it? Because, in rod case, it's the place where the batteries are placed, I fear that the wand can stops working :( Or maybe this is just my imagination...What do you think? (btw, great work with the chalice!!! :la:)

Hello,
This is my first time trying to repaint a rpg item. I have a very faded cosmic locket and I want to repaint it. Do you know how do we remove the old paint and what type of paint do we need to repaint?
Thank you

You can sand off the old paint with really fine sand paper. I haven't found anything that will get the same mirror finish as the original paints, but I use enamel for the red parts and gold spray paint for the gold stuff.

Hello,
May I ask if you do rpg repairing commission and how much do you charge? Thank you and I appreciate your time and response.

Hi there! I do repairs for free but I've got a very long waitlist right now so I'm not taking any more at this time.

Hello. It's okay. I will try to come back in four or five months. And in the mean time try to see if I can fix this myself.
Thank you
